– Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Nishikawa Koya resigned in response to the criticism that he had received a donation from a timber processing company within his constituency, that is suspected to break the act for the regulation of political donations.
– TEPCO announced that it seems that Fukushima No.1 nuke station had drained polluted water to the sea. They reported that there was a water pool highly polluted by radioactive on the rooftop of one of the plants in No.1 station, from where some polluted water had been drained when rains fell. TEPCO had recognized its data since last April but they hadn’t reported them to the authority until now.
